What happens when you don’t use them up fast enough – they get a mind of their own going – then they’re fine porch plants. 🙂
There are now three different types of vines and one blooming plant in the same hanging basket because everything I put in there died due to the location and the amount of sunlight. So after losing half a dozen plants I decided to throw everything but the kitchen sink in there. The four that survived are flourishing. I have now decided to plant more than one type of plant in my other hanging baskets since this one get so many compliments now that it is no longer a barren wasteland.
OK, it’s more than just a zucchini. The zucchini is on the bottom of the picture and I still think it looks like a war club with it’s narrow top and big bottom. It is next to the only orange summer squash I’ve ever seen. It sort of reminds me of a carrot that became a squash. And above that is a generic yellow summer squash. The zucchini has more of the shape of the yellow summer squash only it has an even bigger bulb at the bottom. I doubt it would be very effective as a war club, however.
All the work except for the signature is done in iColorama. It was sort of a dull still life so it got jazzed up.
All iColorama except for signature. Adjust/High, Style/Coherence, Style/Sketch
All in iColorama except the digital signature. Crop, Coherence, Sketch.
The air is very sweet with the smells of the red, pink and white blooms.
It’s been hot enough I’m not doing tons of walking these days. No good captures. So I thought I’d bring back summer in Tijuana, Mexico from last year. One of the barrios.
