I have a very talented niece who takes awesome sunset photos across the lake on her farm in Georgia. Got no lake or farm but we do have urban sunsets. Edited with snapseed using center focus and phonto using chrome.
Ever since I fell down the stairs last May and broke various parts of my body I have found my photomavening somewhat unrequiting. The pictures I used to get involved parking the car or just taking a huge long walk and getting up close and personal with cabbage roses or trees or – well – something interesting.
Day before yesterday I found some marvelous frozen waterfalls. Now, last year I’d have found a place to park and wandered over the frozen ground between the car lane and the cliff and managed to get some shots that way.
Well, this winter it isn’t going to work that way. I have to learn how to walk again after this last surgery, and I wasn’t doing all so hot before the surgery. I’m trying to work with what I’ve got physically. I ask you for patience, because I’m all out of patience, personally. So loan me some.
You may get whimsy, you may get just a shot of what I’m doing (at PT) and then the day will come when I’m once again wandering around looking for that interesting shot I can finally get to on my own two feet.
Life is what we make of it – and right now I’m like Grandpa McCoy. Those of you who are too young to remember him can find him on YouTube.com 😉
