I never know what I’m going to find at the Rosarito, Mexico mall on a weekend.

This is the end result of my efforts. These are blown bush roses from Otay Ranch. I cropped the picture closely in a square and did a little to intensify the outline of the blooms. Then I decided to start experimenting with the brushes on iColorama. I haven’t really done much with it – there is just such a steep learning curve with the app. The above is the result.
Below is the original (cropped).
At the Lavamatica in Rosarito today and noticed lots of texture in the old tile floor. And then there’s the bright color on my new New Balance shoes. Which lead to a photo of the feet and floor. And then an import into iColorama to add definition, congruence and then a deformation called escher. Now it looks like something from the movie Labyrinth with those stairs going inside, outside, and upside down. Oh the things we do waiting for clothes to dry.
The wee little doggie woke me up before 6 a.m. for a walk. There was a lot of fog and the palm type tree in front of the deciduous tree looked like a trip back to prehistory. It was a little exciting to try to get the front tree to show up against the for and the back tree, but with some iColorama effects it looks pretty good.
