This could be just another example of architectural styles from the Southwest or Mexico. And as a photo its fine, if a bit humdrum.
To punch it up I did some basic editing in Snapseed (which I paid for back in the day before Google bought it and made it free) to get the aspect just the way I wanted. Then I imported the photo into the Distressed FX app. It’s not a really spendy app. I did pay for additional modules once I saw what it could do and I’m happy with it, although I don’t use it loads. I like the crinkled appearance and how it reflects the colors in the palate and the swooping birds (yup, those are an FX artifact) add something to it.
I almost always export the photo and add the signature in Phonto (which was free when I first got it) and this time I think I used a BeFunky (also free when I got it) frame.
It is an attractive house on its own, but from my perspective the tinkering with it makes it more eye-catching.
