Made in Haverhill for my eldest granddaughter
Same town and child but memorializing her playing hockey.
Purchased in Fairbanks, not used until Haverhill.
I can see 3. Part of a salt dough candy cane given to me by Dorcas Jackson in Anchorage, the back of a mouse tin soldier I painted in Anchorage and the mouse on the ornament from Anchorage.
These are a small part of the hand made ornaments on the tree. Each of them has a history and a story whether made by my daughter and me or later by my daughter and her children.
In the days of mass produced decorations these mean so much more to me. We spent countless hours cleaning, firing, painting, glazing or in some other way making memories in durable form. There are other decorations created by friends that make me happy just to see them
How about your tree?
