The flock was on the move the entire time I was trying to get close enough for a good shot. Plus the weather was hot and steamy so the air was misty. That made the shots difficult to get clearly. In order to clarify the photos in Snapseed I used Details/Structure, Drama with a bit of saturation added back in, then Center Focus where I darkened the brightness in the center as well as around the edges and blurred the edges a bit.
The hens kept the 20 or so chicks in motion towards the woods. “Let’s get the flock out of here” seemed to be the consensus. Don’t beat me with anything other than soft pillows for that bad pun which was worthy of my late husband.
